Background: Global Scientific Data Platform for Prevention, Control and Management of Major Infectious Diseases (Big-MID) was built by Liu Jue's research team from the School of Public Health, Peking University under the support of National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology's 2030 major special project, the national key research and development plan, the national statistical science project and other national projects. 

 

Purpose: To build a scientific data platform for the prevention, control and management of major infectious diseases, promote academic research and exchange in the field of prevention, control and management of major infectious diseases, promote the development of major infectious disease prevention, control and management disciplines, and provide scientific evidence for the prevention, control and management of major infectious diseases.
